Adriano Sobretodo Jr. is a Filipino-Canadian actor who plays Throat Singing Alpha in Alphas.
Adriano is a classically trained screen and stage actor based in Toronto. He studied in York University's MFA Acting Conservatory and Australia's National Theatre Drama School.
Selected television appearances include Mayday (Discovery), Combat Hospital (ABC), and The Border (CBC). On film he has played the lead role in Rose City (CFC) and Fare (NTF).
Adriano has appeared on stages spanning the US, Australia, and Canada. Recent productions include Matchbox Macbeth (Litmus Theatre, a NOW Magazine Top 10 Production) and the Canadian Premiere of The Ugly One (DMV) which was remounted at One Yellow Rabbit's High Performance Rodeo in Calgary.
Before embarking on his professional acting career, Adriano was an international business consultant for ten years with an undergraduate honours degree from Queen's University.
